    Adaptive Attack: When it strikes, an incarnum golem adapts its attack to take advantage of weaknesses in the opponent’s defenses. Each time it successfully damages a living creature, it gains a cumulative +1 bonus to DX (up to the maximum of +4) when calculating attacks against that opponent. This bonus remains in force until the golem deals damage to a different living creature. If the incarnum golem hits a different target at any point in that progression, the bonus against the first target is lost, and a new bonus begins to accrue against the new target. This is an incarnum ability that is subject to anti-incarnum countermeasures.

    Consume Soul: Whenever a living creature dies within 8 yards of a souleater, the souleater consumes its soul automatically, preventing that creatures potential resurrection. In addition, the souleater gains a +2 bonus to DX for six seconds, and regenerates 1 HP per second of six seconds. Multiple deaths to not provide cumulative bonuses, but refresh the duration. Disregard deaths of small creatures that pose absolutely no threat to the souleater, such as insects, small pests, etc.
    Soulless Aura (12): A souleater emanates a misty aura of negative energy, which drains away the essence of nearby souls. Any living creature within 8 yards of a souleater must roll a Quick Contest of HT against the souleater’s Will every second. If the creature fails, it gains a -2 penalty to ST, DX, IQ, and HT for margin of failure minutes. If the creature leaves the aura’s area, the effects linger for margin of failure seconds. Souleaters are immune to soulless auras of outher souleaters.
