Spelljamming in GURPS

Spelljammer is topical. I've never had any deep knowledge of the AD&D Spelljammer setting, but I was always curious about it, because it's cool. Not that long ago, a Spelljammer supplement for 5e got released, and it was dross of unimaginable proportions. So, instead I got the AD&D Spelljammer book and gave it a read. This post covers spelljamming movement rules and helms, but not the actual vehicles.

My favorite D&D game was heavily reliant on one highly unusual wondrous item from the Dungeon Master's Guide - the Apparatus of the Crab (note that its name is a bit different in the actual book). I was playing loose with the rules and modified the thing heavily. Here's my attempt at bringing this thing to GURPS, using GURPS Vehicles 3e and converting the numbers to 4e.

I decided to have some fun and crack open GURPS Vehicles 3e, GURPS Ultra-Tech, and Pyramid 3-96 to create a hoverbike. Have to say, making hoverbikes is much easier than spaceships.

I was never really content with how GURPS Spaceships handles spaceships, so I tried making one using GURPS Vehicles 3e, GURPS Ultra-Tech, and Pyramid 3-96. As the "x" for the hyperdrive I used "10".

Some time ago one great person on 4chan's /tg/ began to compile a fan collection of GURPS vehicles, while also providing the contributors with a conversion guide. I know nothing about cars and most other vehicles, but I still decided to try my hand at converting a vehicle from a real world into GURPS. I chose the first model that came to my mind - Renault Logan I.
