Monster: Shadow Dragon

Monster: Shadow Dragon

I was surprised to find out that there's actually two different species of shadow dragons in D&D - that drow-dragon sidebar is very hard to notice.

    Bite (14): thrust 3d-1 impaling, Reach C-1.
Front Claw (14): thrust 3d-1 cutting or impaling, Reach C-2.
Hind Claw (12): thrust 3d cutting or impaling, Reach C-2.
Wing (14): thrust 3d crushing, Reach C-3, can only attack front and side hexes.
    Tail (12): thrust 3d crushing, Reach C-3.
Alternate Form (Drow-Dragons Only): A drow-dragon can assume a unique humanoid form – that of a drow. This ability functions as the Alternate Form advantage (p. B83), and the drow-dragon can only assume the form of a specific drow. A drow. A drow-dragon can remain in its drow form until it chooses to return to its natural form.
Blend into Shadows: In any condition of illumination that imposes a -5 penalty to Vision or worse, the shadow dragon can disappear into the shadows, becoming invisible. This gives him a +9 bonus to Stealth in any situation where being seen would matter. Invisibility only works against electromagnetic vision (which encompasses ordinary vision, Infravision, Ultravision, and radar). The shadow dragon does not cast a shadow and doesn’t show up in mirrors. Each minute of use costs 1 FP.
This effect ends if the dragon attacks any creature. For purposes of this spell, an attack includes any spell targeting a foe or whose area or effect includes a foe. Exactly who is a foe depends on the invisible character's perceptions. Actions directed at unattended objects do not break the spell. Causing harm indirectly is not an attack. Thus, an invisible being can open doors, talk, eat, climb stairs, summon monsters and have them attack, cut the ropes holding a rope bridge while enemies are on the bridge, remotely trigger traps, open a portcullis to release attack dogs, and so forth. If the dragon attacks directly, however, he immediately becomes visible.
Breathe Draining Shadows (14): The dragon breathes out a stream of draining shadows, dealing thrust 2d+2 toxic damage as large-area injury. This is a cone attack that uses rules from Area and Spreading Attacks (pp. B413-414). The cone is 1-yard wide and has a length of 5 yards (ST/5). Each use costs 2 FP. It is possible to make the cone wider by using the rules from Cones of Power (GURPS Dungeon Fantasy Monsters 4: Dragons, p. 10).
