Monster: Thoon Elder Brain

At last, we have the last illithid-related monster in all the D&D editions (unless I actually missed something) - the Thoon elder brain. It's actually quite different from its normal counterpart - it cannot extract brains, must subsist on quintessence, has some minor magical abilities, has fewer psionic powers, has eight tendrils instead of four. I need a break.

    Tendrils (10): The elder brain has eight weak tendrils. Each tendril has 1/4 ST of the body (ST 8 (KYOS: ST 5), in this case). These tendrils can always reach and work with each other, regardless of body positioning, general layout, or “right” and “left.” The tendrils have reach C-2. Each tendril deals 1d-4 crushing (KYOS: 1d-8 crushing) damage + 1d follow-up corrosion damage.
    Confusion Sphere: As a Ready maneuver, the Thoon elder brain can activate or deactivate an aura of madness. Any creature within 20 yards must roll a Fright Check using the Confusion table (GURPS Powers, p. 85) at a -3 penalty. If a victim succeeds at his Fright Check, he will be unaffected by this ability for one hour. The victims get +1 per Fright Check after the first within 24 hours.
