Treasure: Magic Shields

Now, let's convert all the yet unconverted magic shields from the Dungeon Master's Guide for D&D 3.5.
     
Absorbing Shield

Absorbing Shield – as an enchanted item (using Sorcery, indestructible shields)
This heavy medium shield (LT, page 116) is flat black and seems to absorb light. Once every day, on command, it can disintegrate an object that it touches. This can be a normal touch, a follow-up to a shield bash, or even can be activated as a free action upon a successful block. The effects are as for Disintegrate (GURPS Thaumatology: Sorcery, p. 20).
Statistics: Affliction 1 (HT; Accessibility, Inanimate objects only, ‑10%; Attribute Penalty, HT‑5, +50%; Cosmic, Object disintegrates if destroyed, +50%; Fixed Duration, +0%; Follow-Up, This shield, +0%; Limited Use, 1/day, -40%; Magical, -10%; Malediction 1, +100%; Negated Advantage, Reduced DR 10, +50%; No Signature, +20%; Reflexive, +40%; Requires a command word, -10%; Secondary Destruction, +60%) [40]. Heater Shield of Ghost Touch – as an enchanted item (using Sorcery, indestructible shields)
This heater shield (LT, page 116) affects ghosts and other insubstantial beings, as if it had the Affects Insubstantial enhancement (p. B102).
Statistics: This enchantment is based on the Ghostly Weapon imbuement skill and is 22 points, per Enhances or Transforms an Existing Attack (GURPS Thaumatology: Sorcery, p. 11). Shield, x0.7; 16 EP.
            TL3 Price: 2 x ($100 + 16 x $320) = $10,440.

Heater Shield of Ghost Touch – as an enchanted item (using Sorcery, destructible shields)
This heater shield (LT, page 116) affects ghosts and other insubstantial beings, as if it had the Affects Insubstantial enhancement (p. B102).

Lion’s Shield

Lion’s Shield – as an enchanted item (using Sorcery, indestructible shields)
This heavy medium shield (LT, page 116) is fashioned to appear to be a roaring lion’s head. Three times per day as a free action, the lion’s head can be commanded to attack (independently of the shield wearer), biting with the wielder’s Shield skill. This deals thrust cutting damage, based on the wielder’s ST. This attack is in addition to any actions performed by the wielder.
Statistics: Extra Attack 1 (Accessibility, Only to attack with the shield’s bite, -20%; Limited Use, 3/day, -20%; Magical, -10%) [13] + Natural Weapon (Cutting; Cannot Parry, -40%; Hidden, +20%; Limited Use, 3/day, -20%; Magical, -10%; Requires a command word, -10%; Single, -20%) [2]. Lion’s Shield – as an enchanted item (using Sorcery, destructible shields)
This heavy medium shield (LT, page 116) is fashioned to appear to be a roaring lion’s head. Reflecting Kite Shield

Reflecting Kite Shield – as an enchanted item (using Sorcery, indestructible shields)
This kite shield (LT, page 116) seems like a mirror. Its surface is completely reflective. Once per day, the wielder of this shield can will the shield to reflect a spell that affects them or their personal equipment directly as a free action. This, this shield does not protect against missile spells. The effects of the spell are redirected to target the attacker, who may resist normally. When the shield is used against an Area spell, the rest of the area is affected normally.
Statistics: Accessory (Mirror) [1] + Static (Magic; Limited Use, 1/day, -40%; Magical, -10%; Reduced Duration, 1/180, -40%; Reflection, +100%; Reflexive, +40%; Switchable, +100%) [75] + Rules Exemption (Magical abilities can coexist with anti-magical Static) [1]. Shield, x0.7; 54 EP.

Spined Shield

Spined Shield – as an enchanted item (using Sorcery, indestructible shields)
This heavy medium shield (LT, page 116) is covered in spines. These spines act as disarming spikes (LTC2, p. 20), but three of these spikes can be launched with a command word. Fired spines regenerate each day. This is a ranged attack that uses Innate Attack (Projectile) to hit. The spines deal 1d impaling damage and have 1/2D 10, Max 100, Acc 3, RoF 1, Shots N/A, and Recoil 1.
Statistics: Impaling Attack 1d (Limited Use, 3/day, -20%; Magical, -10%; Requires a command word, -10%) [5]. Shield, x0.7; 4 EP.
            TL3 Price: 2 x ($30 + 4 x $320) = $2,620.

Spined Shield – as an enchanted item (using Sorcery, destructible shields)
This heavy medium shield (LT, page 116) is covered in spines. These spines act as disarming spikes (LTC2, p. 20), but three of these spikes can be launched with a command word. Small, feathered wings encircle this heavy medium shield (LT, page 116). Once per day it can be commanded to fly along with the wielder for 1 minute. This works at any altitude where there is still significant atmosphere – but in the upper atmosphere, the wielder will need a way to survive in very thin, cold air (e.g., Doesn’t Breathe and Temperature Tolerance). The wielder cannot fly in a trace atmosphere or vacuum.
The flight Move is Basic Speed x 2 (drop all fractions). The wielder can also “fly” at half-speed underwater. Flight includes the ability to hover at Move 0 as well.
Statistics: Flight (Limited Use, 1/day, -40%; Magical, -10%; Requires a command word, -10%) [16]. Shield, x0.7; 12 EP.
            TL3 Price: 2 x ($70 + 12 x $320) = $7,820.
