Monsters: Chitine and Choldrith

SM-1 Shortsword (12): swing 1d-2 cutting or thrust 1d-2 impaling (KYOS: 1d-3 impaling), Reach 1.
Chitine Webbing: Chitines secrete an oil that keeps them from becoming stuck in their own webs. They spin sticky webs from an aperture in their bellies and use this webbing as a construction material for homes, traps, and armor. Frequently they build a normal-looking spider web with a seemingly natural way around it concealing a pit, drop net, or similar trap. They can harden their webbing to produce spikes and edges into their traps. Armor made of hardened web usually has the properties of hardened medium leather, and weapons made of hardened web are of Cheap quality. Weapons, armor, and other objects made from hardened webbing deteriorate after several months if not regularly treated with the oil secreted by chitines’ skin. These items are also Flammable.

Choldrith Toxin
This poison is extracted from a choldrith. A living victim must make an immediate HT-2 roll or suffer 1d-1 toxic damage. Every hour for 4 more cycles he must make another HT-2 roll to resist or take the same amount of damage. After losing 1/3 HP to this poison, the victim becomes paralyzed until he heals above this threshold. After losing 2/3 HP to this poison, the victim gets a -5 penalty to HT until he heals above this threshold.
Form: Follow-Up Poison.
Cost: $540 (singular); $195 (5-batched).
Recipe: $54; 2 days; defaults to Poisons-2.
Statistics: Toxic Attack 1d-1 (Cyclic, 1 hour, 4 cycles, Resistible, +40%; Follow-Up Poison, -20%; Resistible, HT-2, -20%; Symptoms, 1/3 HP, Paralysis, +450%; Symptoms, 2/3 HP, -5 HT, +25%) [18].
