Eye of Fear: The eye of fear and flame can reveal its black eye no more than once per 5 seconds. When it does so, every creature that sees the act must roll a Fright Check at a -3 penalty. If a victim succeeds at his Fright Check, they will be unaffected by this ability for one hour.
Eye of Flame (16): The eye of fear and flame can reveal its red eye no more than once per 5 seconds. When it does so, it launches an exploding fireball. It has Acc 3, range 10/100, and it deals 4d burning damage in a 4-yard-radius area.
Blinding Reflection: The eye of fear and flame is immune to attacks and abilities that blind or otherwise hamper vision. Instead, such attacks flip about to target the attacker, who may resist normally.

Sharp Claws (14): thrust 1d-1 cutting (KYOS: 1d cutting), Reach C.
Energy Drain: While maintaining ongoing contact (grappling, for example), the vilewight can drain 3 HP per second from the victim, while healing 1 HP per each stolen HP.
Create Spawn: Creatures killed by a vilewight rise after 1d minutes as normal wights under the vilewight’s control. They do not possess any of the abilities they had in life.
Vile Intestine grapple (26): The vile wight has a set of eight intestines that erupt from its torso. These intestines have ST equal to 1/4 of body ST (ST 3 in the typical case). Effective skill 28 includes a +14 bonus for using 8 tentacles at once to grapple. Reach C.
Vile Intestine strike (14): The vile wight has a set of eight intestines that erupt from its torso. These intestines have ST equal to 1/4 of body ST (ST 3 in the typical case). Each one can strike, dealing thrust 1d-5 crushing (KYOS: 1d-9 crushing) damage, Reach C.
Life Blindness: Each creature that took damage from the vile intestines (or from energy drain while being grappled by the instestines) must roll against HT-3 or contract a magical disease called life blindness. The disease deals 1d-1 toxic damage, has an onset of 1 day, and ten 1-day cycles. Each instance can be resisted with HT-3. Gradually, the infected victim loses all ability to perceive living creatures, even plants. After losing 1/3 HP the victim treats such beings as invisible, silent, and odorless. The loneliness and alienation eventually drive the victim to be completely antisocial. After losing ½ HP, the victim gains Chronic Depression (9). In addition, each cycle the victim must make a Fright Check on the Despair variant table from Pyramid #3-92, page 29, unless they successfully resisted that cycle. This disease is not contagious.
