Sorcery: Energy Spells
More spells from Pyramid #3-115 converted to Sorcery. These ones I find very interesting. Body of Illusion turns the subject into a perfect illusion under his control. Body of Light transforms the subject into an image. Light Speech allows you to communicate via a coherent laser beam. Sense Light lets the subject feel the light with his skin.
Body of Illusion
Keywords: Resisted (HT).

Duration: 1 minute.
This spell transforms the subject
and whatever they are carrying into a perfect illusion under the caster’s
control for the duration of the spell. The subject has neither memory nor
volition of what they did while turned into an illusion. Once transformed, the
subject is treated as the creation of a Perfect Illusion spell (GURPS Magic, p. 96) for all purposes. If
the illusion is dispelled (the caster ends the spell, or it is dispelled by
Dispel Illusion or Dispel Magic), the subject reverts back to normal. Note that
the caster cannot control the illusion if he casts this spell on himself.

The subject gains the Body of Light
meta-trait; see the footnote below for details. Clothing and gear weighing no more
than his BL change with him. He cannot shift back on his own; he must wait for
the spell to expire or be dispelled. (This does not change if the sorcerer is
the subject.)
Stop Power acts as Glue and Steal Power
acts as Steal Strength on the subject.

Range: 100 yards.
Duration: 1 minute.
You use this spell to communicate
with someone by emitting modulated beams of coherent light from your eyes. You can
send subvocalized words at the speed of ordinary speech. To establish contact
requires one second of concentration and an IQ roll. After that, no
concentration is required.
Light Speech works amid even the
loudest noises, although interference and jamming can disrupt your signal.
Those with suitable equipment may attempt to locate, intercept, or jam your
transmission. This requires an Electronics Operation (Communications) roll.
Range is 50 miles in a direct line
of sight. The narrow beam and line-of-sight requirement make it extremely hard
to eavesdrop on you. You can only communicate with people who have the Laser
Communication (p. B91) advantage or a laser communicator.

This spell gives the subject a
tactile warning (e.g., a tickling feel or sensation of heat) whenever someone
is illuminating his bare skin with a laser, flashlight, or other focused light source
in the visible light, infrared, or ultraviolet frequencies. It also tells the
subject the approximate direction to the source.
