Each
of these special tapers is dedicated to one of the nine alignments. Simply
burning the candle generates a favorable aura for the individual so doing if
the candle’s alignment matches that of the character. A divine spellcaster
within 2 yards of the burning candle of the same alignment is treated as having
spellcasting Talent two levels higher. This applies to all roll made to cast
divine spells, including Quick Contests of Will made for summoning. A candle
burns for 8 hours.
