Alchemy: Dungeon Concoctions
I have converted all existing alchemical elixirs to my Metatronic Alchemy system, but I forgot alchemical concoctions from the Dungeon Fantasy series. It's time to fix that.
Glow Vial
Once separate pill is dropped into vial, glows
brightly enough to eliminate darkness penalties in a two-yard radius for 12
hours. Includes cord for wearing around neck, light shows, etc. Weighs 0.5 lb.
Duration: 12 hours.
Form: Special.
Cost: $30 (singular); $10 (5-batched).
Recipe: $3; 1 day; defaults to Alchemy-1.
Statistics: Illumination [1].
Agility Potion
This orange potion adds 1d to the user’s DX.
Duration: 1 hour.
Form: Potion.
Cost: $2,370 (singular); $855 (5-batched).
Recipe: $237; 32 days; defaults to
Alchemy-8.
Statistics: Affliction 1 (HT; Advantage,
Agility Potion, +720%; Magical, -10%; Potion, -25%) [79]. Notes: «Agility
Potion» is DX+4 (Magical, -10%) [72]. The bonus was converted to 1d as per p.

Balm of Regeneration
This dark green salve accelerates the healing
processes in the subject’s body, making him regenerate 1 HP per second at the cost of 1 FP per second.
The effect ends when HP reaches maximum or FP reaches 0.
Duration: 30 seconds.
Form: Ointment.
Cost: $2,280 (singular); $820
(5-batched).
Cost (Herbal): $1,825 (singular); $660

Recipe: $228; 29 days; defaults to
Alchemy-8.
Statistics: Affliction 1 (HT; Advantage, Balm

Notes: «Balm of Regeneration» is Regeneration (Very Fast; Costs 1 FP/sec, -10%;

meta-enhancement includes Extended Duration, 30x, +60%.
Death Potion
This potion can be thrown (range is STx3.5).
Hitting a hard surface, it breaks, creating a cloud of fumes in a 2-yard
radius. Targets that breathe take 4d toxic damage, or only 2d with a HT roll.
Form: Grenade.

Recipe: $102; 6 days; defaults to Alchemy-4.
Statistics: Toxic Attack 2d (Area Effect, 2

Fire Resistance Potion
This orange potion grants the subject DR 10
against heat and fire.

Statistics: Affliction 1 (HT; Advantage, Fire

Liquid Ice
When thrown (range is STx3.5), this alchemical
preparation deals 2d non-incendiary burning damage due to extreme cold – not
fire. Armor DR protects at 1/5 normal.
Duration: Instantaneous.
Form: Grenade.
Cost: $690 (singular); $250 (5-batched).
Recipe: $69; 3 days; defaults to Alchemy-3
Statistics: Burning Attack 2d (Armor Divisor,
(5), Only armor, +120%; Grenade, +25%; Magical, -10%; No Incendiary Effect,
-10%) [23].
Perception Potion
This gray potion grants the imbiber +6 bonus to
Per.
Duration: 9 minutes.
Form: Potion.
Cost: $900 (singular); $325 (5-batched).
Recipe: $90; 5 days; defaults to Alchemy-3.
Statistics: Affliction 1 (HT; Advantage,
Perception Potion, +270%; Extended Duration, 3x, -40%; Magical, -10%; Potion,
-25%) [30]. Notes: «Perception Potion» is Per+6 (Magical, -10%) [27]. Extended
Duration costs -40% because the Potion meta-enhancement already includes
Extended Duration, 30x, +60%.
