Bowl of
Commanding Water Elementals
Bowl of Commanding Water Elementals – as an enchanted
item (using Sorcery)
This
large container is usually fashioned from blue or green semiprecious stone. It
is about 1 foot in diameter, half that deep, and relatively fragile (DR 3).
When the bowl is filled with fresh water, 1 FP is spent, and certain words are
spoken, a water elemental (worth 75% or less of your point value) appears. The
summoning words require 4 seconds to speak. Only one elemental can be called at
a time. A new elemental requires the bowl to be filled with new water, which
cannot happen until after the first elemental disappears (is dispelled,
dismissed, or slain). If the elemental was dismissed or dispelled, then you
have to wait five minutes before you can summon one again. If the elemental was
slain, then you have to wait a day before the next summoning.
See
GURPS Magic, p. 191 or GURPS Dungeon Fantasy 9 – Summoners, p.
30 for statistics of water elementals.
Statistics:

Brazier of
Commanding Fire Elementals
Brazier of Commanding Fire Elementals – as an
enchanted item (using Sorcery)
This
device appears to be a normal container for holding burning coals. When a fire
is lit in the brazier, 1 FP is spent, and certain words are spoken, a fire

Censer of Controlling
Air Elementals
Censer of Controlling Air Elementals – as an enchanted
item (using Sorcery)
This
6-inch-wide, 1-inch-high perforated golden vessel resembles a thurible found in
a place of worship. If it is filled with incense and lit, 1 FP is spent, and
certain words are spoken, an air elemental (worth 75% or less of your point
value) appears. The summoning words require 4 seconds to speak. Only one

then you have to wait five minutes before you can summon one again. If the
