Ring of Heaviness
Grants the wearer the ability to afflict
another character with slower movement. The subject becomes proportionately slower than he was,
reducing his Move in all mediums, but not his Basic Speed. This reduces his
Basic Move to 0.8x of its original value if your margin of victory is 0-2, to
0.6x if your margin of victory is 3-4, to 0.4x if your margin of victory is
5-6, 0.2x if your margin of victory is 7-8, or immobilizes him completely if
your margin of victory is 9-10. This requires a Quick Contest of Will vs. the
target’s HT. The range modifier is -1 per yard of range.
