    Punch (13): thrust 1d-1 crushing, Reach C.
Change Shape: A greater doppelganger can assume a form of any humanoid with a racial template cost no more than 300 points. He only changes shape cosmetically, not gaining any new abilities. Each transformation takes 5 seconds.
Consume Identitiy: A greater doppelganger can consume a brain of a sentient creature and try to absorb its memories and skills. This process takes one hour and requires a successful Quick Contest of IQ vs. the victim’s HT. Only one attempt is allowed. If the greater doppelganger succeeds, he storesa detailed “snapshot” of the consumed victim’s mind. Later, an IQ roll would let him recall information the consumed victim knew when he was still alive or his personality (eliminating penalties to impersonate him with Acting). Moreover, the greater doppelganger can memorize up to 20 points of the consumed victim’s skills and mental advantages as per Super-Memorization (p. B71).
Polymorph Rend (13): With a touch, a greater doppelganger can deal 4d toxic damage to a creature that is presently under effects of a polymorph spell or any other shapechanging effect.

Traits: Immunity to Mind Control; Infravision; Mind Reading (Magical); Smooth Operator 3.
    Skills: Acting-18; Brawling-13; Diplomacy-18; Fast-Talk-18; Sex Appeal-18.

    Pseudopod (14): thrust 1d-2 crushing, Reach C.
Ooze Senses: An ooze’s entire body is a primitive sensory organ that can ascertain prey by scent and vibration. It uses standard range penalties instead of a -1/yard penalty when detecting smells, and gets a +5 bonus on Smell and Taste rolls (Sense roll 16). Its smell operates both in air and underwater. In addition, the ooze can detect vibrations in the air. It can locate prey in the dark, but cannot detect details. To use Vibration Sense, the ooze must make a Sense roll (11). Consult the Size and Speed/Range Table (p. B550) and apply separate bonuses for the target’s size and speed, and a penalty for the range to the target. Wind will generate “noise” that interferes with this sense. Find the speed of the wind on the table and assess the relevant speed penalty. A successful roll reveals the rough size, location, speed, and direction of movement of the target, allowing the ooze to move to it and attempt to engulf it.
Paralysis: A ghaunadan secretes an anesthetizing slime. If a creature touches the ghaunadan with its bare skin, it must roll HT to resist. It becomes paralyzed for 3 seconds per point of margin of failure. After that the subject is stunned (p. B420) and may roll vs. HT once per second to recover.
Alternate Form: The ghaunadan has two forms – ooze and drow. Initiating a change requires a Ready maneuver. The entire shapechanging process takes five seconds, during which the ghaunadan need not constantly concentrate – it can act normally. It has the abilities of the form it is changing from until the transition is complete. It may stay in the drow shape for up to 15 hours per day.

Traits: Blindness; Clinging; Doesn’t Breathe; Doesn’t Sleep; Extra-Flexible Arms; High Pain Threshold; Immunity to Metabolic Hazards; Injury Tolerance (Diffuse; Infiltration); Injury Tolerance (No Eyes, No Head, No Neck); Invertebrate; Mute; No Legs (Slithers); No Fine Manipulators; Social Stigma (Monster).
