Monsters: Devils II

Monsters: Devils II

While I converted many demons, I haven't completely forgotten about their lawful counterparts. Let's convert two devils from the Fiendish Condex II - the legion devil and the pain devil. Why these two? Because both of them do not have any art in the book.

    Legion’s Strength: Legion devila become more agile and intelligent when working together with other legion devils. If there’s at least four legion devils that could reach each other in one minute, they have their DX and IQ increased by 1. If the group counts eight or more legion devils, then this bonus increases to 2.

    Flail (12): swing 3d crushing, Reach 1-2*. Attempts to parry flails are at -4; fencing weapons (“F” parry) can’t parry at all! Attempts to block such weapons are at -2.
    Aura of Torment: A pain devil can activate an aura of torment. Any non-baatezu within 8 yards of the pain devil that loses in a Quick Contest of Will with it experiences moderate pain (p. B428). If the creature leaves the aura’s area, the effects linger for margin of failure seconds.
