Sorcery: Gravity Spells II

More gravity spells. Increase Gravity increases the local gravity level. Mass Distortion increases the subject's mass without strengthening his bones. Redirect Gravity is a very costly spell that redirects the gravity in any direction. Reduce Gravity reduces the local gravity level.

Increase Gravity
Keywords: Area (Fixed).
Full Cost: 54 points for level 1 + 9 points/additional level.
Casting Roll: IQ.
Range: 100 yards.
Duration: 10 seconds.

This spell increases gravity in an area. See Different Gravity (p. B350) for details on different gravity levels. The area of effect has a radius of 5 yards and height of 4 yards. The spell increases gravity by 10% per level.

Mass Distortion

Full Cost: 54 points for level 1 + 27 points/additional level.
Casting Roll: IQ.
Range: Unlimited.
Duration: Instantaneous.

The caster drastically increases the subject’s mass for a moment without strengthening its bones. The subject takes 2d crushing damage with No Knockback and No Blunt Trauma modifiers per level of this spell. DR does not protect.
In addition, the subject immediately falls over, as if his legs (or equivalent) just gave out on him. He may begin getting back up on his very next turn. If flying, he spends one second losing altitude; assume he drops five yards multiplied by local gravity in Gs unless more detailed rules are available. If this is not enough to make him crash, he regains control next turn.

This spell redirects gravity in an area, causing creatures and objects inside “fall” in a different direction. See Different Gravity (p. B350) for details different gravity levels. The area of effect has a radius of 5 yards and height of 4 yards.
