Sonic Shriek (12): 2d non-incendiary burning, costs 3 FP. Range 5/10, maximum width 5 yards. If any damage penetrates the target’s DR, he must make a HT roll, at -1 per 2 points of injury or become deafened for (20-HT) minutes and stunned. The target may roll HT to recover normally from stun on subsequent turns. Can only be used in sound-transmitting mediums (air or water; is blocked by Silence and similar effects) and within any enclosure of stone or natural earth (such as in an earthen tunnel or a stone building).
Unfurled Might: When in a space at least 20 feet high, a maur can unfurl from its stooped, hunched position as a Ready maneuver. Unfurling is an agonizing, joint-popping experience for the maur, though it relishes the change. While completely unfurled, the maur becomes SM+3 and gets a +10 bonus to ST (KYOS: +7 bonus to ST). A maur can spend one minute unfurled each day before it is forced back into its prior hunched conformation.
