And here we have the earth mephit who has an ability to change its size and ST. Usually, I avoid such abilities like fire.

Blunt Claws (10): 1d-2 crushing (KYOS: 1d-3 crushing), Reach C.
Breath Weapon (10): A 10-yard jet of rock shards and pebbles erupts from the mephit’s mouth. He uses Innate Attack (Breath) to hit. Don’t apply range penalties; treat this as a long melee weapon rather than a ranged attack. It does 1d crushing damage. This ability costs 1 FP to use.
Soften Earth and Stone (14): Once per day, an earth mephit can turn earth and stone into quicksand. This affects a 2-yard-radius area within 100 yards of the mephit. The mephit places the effect using the Inante Attack (Gaze) skill, at +4 for targeting an area. Anyone who enters the area sinks up to his knees, grappled with an effective ST 10. After 10 seconds, the ground hardens and can no longer trap new victims.
Change Size: Once per hour, the mephit can grow in size, increasing his SM to +0 and gaininst a +2 bonus to ST. This increases damage dealt by his blunt claws to 1d-1 crushinh. This lasts for 1 minute.
