While I still have not enough free time to run another solo session, let's tackle another request. The
metalmaster is a magical slug that can create magnetic fields. Cool!

    Long Spines (3): The metalmaster gets a DX-4 roll to hit each foe in close combat with it with its embedded metal shards once per turn, as a free action. Roll at +2 against foes who attacked the metalmaster from behind. Those who grapple or slam the metalmaster are hit immediately and automatically – and those who slam the metalmaster take maximum damage! 1d impaling, Reach C.
    Detect Metal (12): The metalmaster constantly generates an oscillating magnetic field that lets it detect electrically conductive material on a Sense roll at -1 per yard, even through rock and ground, and sense the amount. With an IQ roll, the metalmaster can identify different metals. The magnetic field can be detected by various technological and supernatural means.
    Magnetism (Alternative Abilities):
    Attraction/Repulsion Aura:
The metalmaster can generate a magical magnetic field that either repels or attracts ferrous metals within 16 yards of it. Activating this ability, deactivating it, or switching its mode requires a Ready maneuver. The force has ST 14 and can move any object it has strength enough to lift, at a Move equal to 7, modified as usual for encumbrance level (see Encumbrance and Move, p. B17).
    Attraction simply causes objects to move until they’re in contact with the metalmaster, whereupon they’re held there with ST 14 until it turns off its ability. Repulsion shoves objects away from the metalmaster until they reach the maximum range of the ability. In either case, objects can only move or be moved in the opposite direction if the mover wins a Quick Contest of his ST or TK level against the ST of this magnetic field.
    Metal Storm: The metalmaster may use its power over the magnetic fields to cause the metal shards embedded in its body to fly around itself akin to a metal storm. Everyone within 8 yards of the metalmaster is attacked. While this ability is active, the metalmaster does not benefit from Long Spines.
