Monsters: Creatures of Stone

Let's finish converting the creatures from Races of Stone to be done with the entire Races of X series. At least with races and monsters from it. The earth whisper is a very interesting monster, in my opinion. I've used it both in D&D and GURPS games.

    Avarice (11): An earth whisper may use this ability on an IQ 6+ creature. A subject that lost a Quick Contest of Will with the earth whisper becomes obsessed with acquiring valuable minerals and metals. If an ally has some valuable minerals or metals in their possession, the subject is likely to try to take them away and, if the ally resists, attack them. While this obsession lasts, the subject also has Bloodlust (9) (p. B125). This effect lasts for 6 seconds per point of margin of failure.
    Cavern Fear (11): An earth whisper may use this ability on an IQ 6+ creature. A subject that lost a Quick Contest of Will with the earth whisper becomes afraid of open spaces, gaining Agoraphobia (6) (p. B150). This effect lasts for 6 seconds per point of margin of failure.

    SM+1 Maul (14): swing 6d-1 crushing, Reach 1-3*. Becomes unready after an attack.
    Aura of Menace: An archon can activate this ability to cause all creatures within 10 yards of him to make a Fright Check. The archon can exclude any beings from the area of effect. If a victim succeeds at his Fright Check, he will be unaffected by the archon’s Aura of Menace for one hour. Use Awe check table from GURPS Powers, page 85, if possible.
    Celestial Spear (14): When touching the ground, the hammer archon can launch a jagged spear of celestial stone. This spear deals 2d impaling and has Range 25/50. Counts as a holy attack for the purpose of Vulnerabilities and similar traits.
    Detect Evil (11): By taking a Concentrate maneuver and rolling against Per modified by range penalties, the archon can sense evil auras of unholy creatures (such as fiends and clerics of evil deities) and unholy items. On a success, the archon learns the direction to the nearest significant evil aura.
    Tongues: Aside from the languages the archon knows, it has one slot that it can fill with any spoken language that is not “secret” or “lost” at the Native comprehension level by taking a Ready maneuver.
