Racial Templates/NPCs: Races of the Wild

Racial Templates/NPCs: Races of the Wild

Since I did some Races of the Wild content, let's also convert the actual races from that book (that were not converted before), and the sample NPCs.

RACIAL TEMPLATES

Raptorans are very cool. Among the common races, they are one of the few that have an ability to fly with an additional flightless option, justified with some nice flavour. A quite common race in my Karilan setting.

RAPTORAN [31] (Races of the Wild, page 68)
Advantages: Absolute Direction [5]; Acute Vision 1 [2]; Flight (Cannot Hover, -15%; Winged, -25%) [24]; Night Vision 5 [5].
Disadvantages: Skinny [-5].

RAPTORAN (GLIDER) [17] (Races of the Wild, page 68)
Advantages: Absolute Direction [5]; Acute Vision 1 [2]; Flight (Gliding, -50%; Winged, -25%) [10]; Night Vision 5 [5].
Disadvantages: Skinny [-5].

Catfolks are more folks than cats. Don't even have fur or claws.

CATFOLK [42] (Races of the Wild, page 92)
Attributes: DX+1 [20].
Secondary Characteristics: Basic Move +1 [5].
Advantages: Acute Hearing 1 [2]; Catfall [10]; Night Vision 5 [5].

The killorens are one of the very few playable fey races in D&D. They have an ability to manifest one of the three natural aspects that makes them quite flexible. An interesting one.

KILLOREN [26] (Races of the Wild, page 102)
Advantages: Extended Lifespan 1 [2]; Green Thumb 1 [5]; Night Vision 5 [5].
Manifestation of Nature Power (Alternative Abilities) [24]:
Aspect of the Ancient [17/5=4]: Mind Shield 2 (Magical, -10%) [8] + Outdoorsman 1 (Magical, -10%) [9].
Aspect of the Destroyer [6/5=2]: Burning Attack 1d (Accessibility, Only works on aberrations, undead, constructs, humanoids, outsiders, oozes, -10%; Follow-Up, Universal, +50%; Magical, -10%; No Incendiary Effect, -10%) [6].
Aspect of the Hunter [18]: Per+2 (Magical, -10%) [9] + Silence 2 (Magical, -10%) [9].
Disadvantages: Vulnerability (Cold Iron, x2) [-10].
