Treasure: Mirrors, Orbs, and Pearls
Here we have some more magic items from the Dungeon Master's Guide for D&D 3.5. I find it funny that the mirror of opposition was that easy to stat up. I'm omitting the pearl of power, because it cannot be adapted to GURPS.

Mirror of Life
Trapping
Mirror of Life Trapping – as an enchanted item (using
Sorcery)
This
crystal device is usually about 4 feet square and framed in metal or wood. It
can be hung or placed on a surface and then activated by giving a command word.
Keeping the mirror active costs 1 FP per minute. The same command word
deactivates the mirror.
A mirror of life trapping has fifteen nonspatial
extradimensional compartments within it. Any creature coming within 8 yards of
the device and looking at its own reflection must succeed in a Quick Contest of
Will with the person that activated the mirror or be trapped within the mirror
in one of the cells.
When
a creature is trapped, it is taken bodily into the mirror. Size is not a
factor, but constructs and undead are not trapped, nor are inanimate objects
and other nonliving matter. A victim’s equipment (including clothing and
anything being carried) remains behind. If the mirror’s owner knows the right
command word, he can call the reflection of any creature trapped within to its
surface and engage his powerless prisoner in conversation. Another command word
frees the trapped creature. Each pair of command words is specific to each
prisoner. If the mirror’s capacity is exceeded, one victim (determined
randomly) is set free in order to accommodate the latest one. If the mirror is
broken, all victims currently trapped in it are freed.
Statistics:
Affliction 1 (Will; Area Effect, 8 yards, +150%; Aura, +80%; Based on Will,

Mirror of Mental
Prowess
Mirror of Mental Prowess – as a metatronic generator
(using Pyramid 3-46)
This
mirror resembles an ordinary looking glass 5 feet tall by 2 feet wide. The
possessor who knows the proper commands can cause it to perform as follows.
-
Read the surface thoughts of any creature reflected
therein, as long as the owner is within 10 yards of the mirror, even if those
thoughts are in an unknown language. The caster must be able to see the reflection
to read the reflected creature’s thoughts, even if he doesn’t know the language
or the subject is not sapient. He must make an IQ roll, modified for range
penalties between the mirror and the subject (see p. B550). If the user wins,
he can “hear” the subject’s surface thoughts as a voice in his head. Received
thought comes at the speed of speech. The caster can maintain this effect for
as long as he wishes without further concentration. If he switches to another
person, he must stop reading his current subject and roll a Quick Contest with
the new subject. If he loses, he may try again, at a cumulative -2 per repeated
attempt on that subject in the past hour. Should he critically fail, he cannot
read that person again for 24 hours. Activating this effect costs 1 FP, and
maintenance costs 1 FP per minute.
-
View other places as if with Scrying
10 (maximum range 5.6 miles).
-
Use it as a portal to visit other places. The user
first views the place with the scrying function, then steps through the mirror
to the place pictured. In all other aspects, it works as Create
Gate.
-
Divine future for creatures that are seen through the
mirror or that are reflected in the mirror as per Divination (GURPS Thaumatology: Sorcery, p. 19).
Statistics: Divination

Mirror of
Opposition
Mirror of Opposition – as an enchanted item (using
Sorcery)
This
item resembles a normal mirror about 4 feet long and 3 feet wide. It can be
hung or placed on a surface and then activated by speaking a command word. Keeping
the mirror active costs 1 FP per minute. The same command word deactivates the
mirror. If a creature sees its reflection in the mirror’s surface while being
within 8 yards of the mirror, roll a Quick Contest of Will between the creature
and the mirror’s user. If the creature loses, an exact duplicate of that
creature comes into being. This opposite immediately attacks the original. The
duplicate has all the possessions and powers of its original (including magic).
Upon the defeat or destruction of either the duplicate or the original, the
duplicate and her items disappear completely. The mirror functions up to four
times per day.
Statistics:
Affliction 1 (Will; Area Effect, 8 yards, +150%; Aura, +80%; Based on Will,
+20%; Costs Fatigue, 1 FP, -5%; Disadvantage, Enemy (Evil Twin; Hunter;
Constantly), +40%; Extended Duration, Permanent, +150%; Limited Use, 4/day,
