Vehicle: Panlunar Consortium Scout Ship
I was never really content with how GURPS Spaceships handles spaceships, so I tried making one using GURPS Vehicles 3e, GURPS Ultra-Tech, and Pyramid 3-96. As the "x" for the hyperdrive I used "10".
Panlunar Consortium Scout Ship (TL 10^)
Subassemblies: Retractible skids and 1 pop turret.
Body Features: Radical streamlining, sloped front.
Propulsion: One TL 10 70,000 lb. thrust super reactionless thruster with vectored thrust (35,000 kW). One 70-ton hypershunt hyperdrive (700 kW routine travel, 25,200,000 kWs to enter hyperspace).
Weaponry: One point defense laser (1088 kW).
Instruments and Electronics: Long-range tight beam radio (500,000 mi, 0,04 kW). Radio jammer (5 mi, 0.01 kW). Searchlights (1 kW). AESA (0.25 kW). PESA (neg. kW). Inertial navigation system (neg. kW). Microframe computer (neg. kW, Complexity 6): Cartography (Complexity 3), Computer navigation (Complexity 2), Datalink (Complexity 1). Terminal (neg. kW).
Miscellaneous: Compact fire suppression system (50 lbs.). Cargo ramp. Doors and hatches. Airlock. Two crashwebs.
Controls: Computerized.
Crew Stations: Roomy crew station (pilot). Cramped crew station (gunner).
Occupancy: Long.
Accomodations: Ten cabins.
Environmental Systems: TL 10 full life system for ten people (100 kW). Grav Unit (1,000kW).
Power Plant: TL 10 fusion reactor with 40,000 kW output (lasts 200 yrs.). Powers all systems except hyperdrive jump with 2,010.7 kW excess for upgrades or to power hyperdrive.
Energy Bank: Rechargeable power cell stores 28,800,000 kW, powers hyperdrive good for one hyperspace entry. By shutting down weapons and drive, the power plant can recharge enough to make a single hyperdrive entry in 13 minutes. Without shutting down the weapons and drive, the power plant can recharge enough to make a single hyperdrive entry in 4 hours.
Cargo Space: 350 cf.
Armor: DR 100 advanced polymer nanocomposite armor.
Statistics: Empty weight 66,988.5 lbs. Usual payload 9,000 lbs. Loaded weight 75,988.5 lbs. Volume 6132 cf. Surface area 2010 sf. Price $2,819,886.
Aerial Performance: Aerodynamic drag 50.25, aerial top speed 3232 mph, aAccel 21, aMR 0.25, aSR 5, aDecel 1.
