Here's three protective force spells.
Assassin’s Bane
Keywords: Buff.
Full Cost: 29 points for level 1 + 17
points/additional level.
Casting Roll: None. Use Innate
Attack (Gaze) to aim.
Range: 100 yards.
Duration: Three minutes.
The subject, and all of his carried
gear, is protected by an invisible field of pure force, but only from the back. This increases his DR
by twice the level of this spell (e.g., Assassin’s Bane 3 adds DR 6), cumulative
with that from actual armor against attacks made from the back.
In addition, this spell reflects any
damage it stops at the subject’s attacker. The remaining damage affects the
subject normally. The attacker doesn’t get an active defense against the first
attack the spell reflects back at him, but gets his usual defenses against
subsequent reflected attacks. Reflection only works vs. direct hits!
Statistics:
Affliction 1 (HT; Advantage, Assassin’s Bane 1, +170%; Fixed Duration, +0%;
Increased 1/2D, 10x, +15%; No Signature, +20%; Sorcery, -15%) [23]. Additional
levels add further Assassin’s Bane to the Advantage enhancement [+17]. Notes:
Each level of “Assassin’s Bane” is Damage Resistance 2 (Directional, Back,
-40%; Force Field, +20%; Magical, -10%; Reflection, +100%) [17].
Juggernaut Armor
Keywords: Buff.
Full Cost: 21 points for level 1 + 9
points/additional level.
Casting Roll: None. Use Innate
Attack (Gaze) to aim.
Range: 100 yards.
Duration: Three minutes.

gear, is protected by an invisible field of pure force, but only from the front. This increases his DR
by twice the level of this spell (e.g., Juggernaut Armor 3 adds DR 6), cumulative
with that from actual armor against attacks made from the front.

Increased 1/2D, 10x, +15%; No Signature, +20%; Sorcery, -15%) [21]. Additional
levels add further Juggernaut Armor to the Advantage enhancement [+9]. Notes:
Each level of “Juggernaut Armor” is Damage Resistance 2 (Directional, Front, -20%;
Force Field, +20%; Magical, -10%) [9].
Space Adaptation
Keywords: Buff.
Full Cost: 49 points.
Casting Roll: None. Use Innate
Attack (Gaze) to aim.
Range: 100 yards.
Duration: Three minutes.
The subject becomes shielded by an
invisible force screen that protects him from the hazards of space. He gains PF
5, Sealed (p. B82), Temperature Tolerance 10 (p. B93), and Vacuum Support (p.
B96). Note that this spell does not
eliminate the need for air.

Affliction 1 (HT; Advantage, Space Adaptation, +370%; Fixed Duration, +0%;
Increased 1/2D, 10x, +15%; No Signature, +20%; Sorcery, -15%) [49]. Notes: “Space
Adaptation” is Radiation Tolerance 5 (Magical, -10%) [9] + Sealed (Magical,
