Sorcery: Steal Attributes
At first I wanted to base these spells on Leech, but then decided that using Affliction here is better, because the caster is not supposed to heal HP. Steal Grace, Steal Might, Steal Wisdom, and Steal Vigor steal DX, ST, IQ, and HT, respectively.
Steal Grace
Keywords: Resisted (DX).
Full Cost: 38 points for level 1 + 19 level/additional level.
Casting Roll: Will. Use DX or unarmed combat skill to hit.
Range: Touch.
Duration: 3 minutes.
The victim (who must be a sapient
living being) suffers temporary DX loss equal to the spell level. Lower all
skills based on DX by a like amount. Secondary characteristics are not
affected. However, the caster cannot lower the subject’s attribute below the subject’s
racial average (10 for a human). Thus, a subject must have an exceptional score
for this spell to work. The caster gains a bonus to DX equal to the imposed
penalty for the duration of the spell.
