Wizardry: Sound Spells II

Let's finish the sound spells. Sculpt Spell is a difficult spell that can do all sorts of sound- or voice-related things. Shatter is a single-target attack against objects and crystalline creatures. Shout is an area sonic attack. Sympathetic Vibration is a sonic attack against buildings. Ventriloquism lets you displace your voice.
 
Sculpt Sound
Keywords: Resisted (Will).
Full Cost (Touch): 63 points for level 1 + 40 points/additional level.
Full Cost (Short-Range): 66 points for level 1 + 40 points/additional level.
Full Cost (Ranged): 71 points for level 1 + 40 points/additional level.
Casting Roll: Skill.

Cost: 2 FP.
Casting Time: 1 second.
Range: Touch – Unlimited (-1/yard) - Unlimited (standard).
Duration: 30 minutes.
 
You change the sounds that a creature or object makes. Once the transmutation is made, you cannot change it. Each level of this spell lets you add up to 5 points of sound-based advantages, remove up to 5 points of sound-based disadvantages, add up to 50 points of sound-based disadvantages, or remove up to 50 points of sound-based advantages in any valid combinations.
The caster could dampen sound by granting Silence, change the voice by granting Disturbing Voice (p. B132), Loud Voice (GURPS Power-Ups 6: Quirks, p. 16), Penetrating Voice (p. B101), Stuttering (p. B157), or Voice (p. B97), or even make the subject unable to speak by imparting Cannot Speak or Mute.
Statistics: Affliction 1 (Will; Based on IQ, Own Roll, +20%; Based on Will, +20%; Costs Fatigue, 2 FP, -10%; Extended Duration, 10x, +40%; Fixed Duration, +0%; Magical, -10%; Malediction 1, +100%; Melee Attack, Reach C, -30%; No Signature, +20%; Requires Gestures, -10%; Requires Magic Words, -10%; Variable Enhancement, +400%) [63]. The Short-Range version removes Melee Attack, Reach C, -30% [+3]. The Ranged version replaces Malediction 1, +100% with Malediction 2, +150% [+5]. Additional levels add more Variable Enhancement, +400% [+40]. Notes: Variable Enhancement provides +50% of enhancements (+500%) but is limited by “Accessibility, Only sound-based traits” (-20%) for a net +400%.

Shatter creates a loud, ringing noise that does 2d crushing damage to a single object with Brittle or crystalline creature. See p. B557, for DR and HP of various items. DR does not protect against this!

The Ranged version replaces Malediction 1, +100% with Malediction 2, +150% [+5].

    You emit an ear-splitting yell that deafens and damages creatures in its path. Everyone within four yards of you takes 1d burning damage. This damage originates from sonic vibrations – it cannot set anything on fire. This damage does not work in the area of effect of the Silence spell or a similar ability. Everyone within the area also must resist with HT; Protected Hearing gives +5, Hard of Hearing gives +4, and those with Deafness are immune. The caster is not immune to it. Everyone who fails to resist is deafened for margin of failure minutes.

    By attuning yourself to a freestanding structure such as a building, bridge, or dam, you can create a damaging vibration within it. While you keep contact with the structure, you deal 1d crushing damage to it every second. DR does not protect against this! See p. B558, for HP of various buildings.

    You can make your voice (or any sound that you can normally make vocally) seem to issue from someplace else, such as from another creature, a statue, from behind a door, down a passage, etc. You can speak in any language you know and in any frequency that you are able to.
