The third flying race from Dragon Magazine #244 is the ashiera. They are aquatic fishmen who have gained wings and some spell-like abilities due to wild magic effects. Honeslty, this is an interesting race.

    Coldfire (12): All ashiera have the ability to generate coldfire from their fingertips. This special ability manifests itself as an ice storm in the air. The storm cloud has a radius of 2 yards, is placed at +4, and drifts with the wind. The ice storm gives -3 to all vision rolls made through it using normal vision and Infravision and deals 1d-2 fatigue damage per second, ignoring unsealed DR. Treat FP lost to this attack identically to FP lost to the cold for all purposes, notably recovery (see Cold, p. B430). The maximum range of this ability is 10 yards. In water it flings three ice shards at the target. This attack deals 1d impaling damage, has 1/2D 5, Max 10, Acc 3, RoF 3, Recoil 1. Using this ability costs 2 FP.
    Fog: An asiera can spend 2 FP to wrap itself in fog. This covers a 2-yard-radius area around the ashiera. The fog gives -4 to all vision rolls made through it, penalizing attacks that rely on vision as well. The fog moves with the ashiera and lasts for one minute.
