Breathe Venom (14): The dragon breathes out a stream of venom, dealing thrust 2d toxic damage as large-area injury. The venom is a contact agent that ignores unsealed DR and can be resisted with a HT-5 roll. Sealed creatures are immune. This is a cone attack that uses rules from Area and Spreading Attacks (pp. B413-414). The cone is 1-yard wide and has a length of 5 yards (ST/5). Each use costs 2 FP. It is possible to make the cone wider by using the rules from Cones of Power (GURPS Dungeon Fantasy Monsters 4: Dragons, p. 10).
Retributive Curse (Agony) (13): Hex dragons have learned to channel their pain and anger into terrible retributive magic; many foes who succeed in wounding a hex dragon find themselves wishing they could take back the blow. Whenever the hex dragon takes injury, it may curse the creature that caused that injury as a free action. The creature must be within 16 yards. Roll a Quick Contest of Will. If the dragon wins, the victim becomes permanently wracked by terrible pain (p. B428). This effect cannot be removed by Dispel Magic, but Remove Curse or an equivalent effect dispels it. Should a hex dragon be killed, it reflexibely unleashes a death curse against all creatures within 16 yards of it.
