Udoroot is a sessile monster whose main part is buried underground. Its sunflower-like crows manifest psionic abilities and use other creatures as fertilizer.

Crowns: An udoroot usually has six crowns growing in a circular pattern. The plant is immobile and has no physical attacks, but it can sense prey with Vibration Sense and manifest psionic abilities through its six stalks. It still can perform two mental maneuvers on its turn, but only if it has at least two functional crowns. In addition, the udoroot can track as many targets at it has crowns, applying benefits of Aim or Evaluate against all of the targets.
An udoroot can be killed only if its root is dug up or exposed, then burned, hacked apart, or otherwise destroyed. Severing or destroying all six crowns puts the plant out of commission, allowing excavation of the helpless root.
The udoroot cannot suffer more than 2 x (its HP/number of crowns) points of injury from any single attack to its crown or stalk (functionally, they are targeted as heads and necks, respectively). Any crown blow that causes unconsciousness only knocks out that one crown; the others continue to function! A critical crown blow that would normally kill the udoroot simply destroys that crown, inflicting the maximum injury noted above and crushing, severing, or exploding the crown. Each destroyed crown regrows in 2d+2 months.
