Adhesive Slime: A farastu exudes a thick, tarlike slime that acts as a powerful adhesive, holding fast any creatures or items that touch it. Adhesive has ST 12 and can only be damaged by cutting or burning attacks. Lantern oil or some other flammable oil (such as alchemist’s fire) dissolves the adhesive, but the farastu still can grapple normally. A farastu can dissolve its adhesive at will, and the substance breaks down 1 minute after the creature dies. See Binding, p. B40 for more details.

Acidic Slime: The kelubar exudes acid that deals 1d corrosion damage to anything that touches it. The kelubar can stop or resume exuding acid with a Ready maneuver.
Stench: Any creature that inhales the stench exuded by the kelubar in a 4-yard radius becomes nauseated for a number of minutes, equal to the margin of failure on the HT roll to resist.
