Alchemy: Alchemical Paints
Alchemy Manual for Pathfinder RPG has a small section about orcish alchemical traditions. Orcs use alchemical war paints to paint their faces to achieve certain effects. I've decided to create a new meta-enhancement for such elixirs and convert the only three paints from the book.

Paint
-65%
A paste that must be applied artistically to
the subject’s body or, usually, face. It usually takes 1 minute to apply a paint
to a person. Lasts a week if exposed to air; neutralized by water. Alchemical
paints can only be applied to creatures; they cannot affect objects. A typical paint’s
effect lasts 1 hour, but this can be changed. The paint must be applied in
specific patterns, requiring a successful Artist (Painting) roll. A jar of an alchemical
paint weighs 0.5 lb., has SM-6 and Bulk -3. This is a Mini item.

PAINTS
Frightful War Paint
This bone-white paste makes the subject’s face
appear skeletal and emotionless, like a visage of death itself. Anyone who sees
the subject must roll an immediate Fright Check (see Fright Checks, p. B360) with +1 per Fright Check after the first
within 24 hours. If a victim succeeds at his Fright Check, he will be
unaffected by this paint for one hour. When painting this paint of the subject’s
face, the painter can designate creatures that will not be affected by this fearsome visage (usually allies).
Duration: 1 hour.
Form: Paint.
Cost: $900 (singular); $325 (5-batched).
Recipe: $90; 5 days; defaults to Alchemy-3.
Statistics: Affliction 1 (HT; Advantage, Frightful
War Paint, +270%; Magical, -10%; Paint, -65%) [30]. Notes: «Frightful War Paint»
is Terror (Sight; Always On, -20%; Magical, -10%; Selective Effect, +20%) [27].
Imposing War Paint
This gritty red paste makes the subject appear as
if he was covered in dried blood. The subject can use Intimidation without
saying a word: simply cross your arms and glower. In addition, on any turn
during which he knocks down or kill an enemy, he can make an immediate skill
roll (same skill used to down the foe). Success lets him try Intimidation (p.
B202) against any remaining foes as a free action that turn.
Duration: 1 hour.
Form: Paint.
Cost: $270 (singular); $100 (5-batched).
Recipe: $27; 1 day; defaults to Alchemy-1.
Statistics: Affliction 1 (HT; Advantage, Imposing
War Paint, +40%; Magical, -10%; Paint, -65%) [9]. Notes: «Imposing War Paint»
is Cosmic Power 1 (Limited, Only intimidating combat shticks, -60%; Magical,
-10%) [3] + Follow-Through (Magical, -10%) [1].
Shaman’s Paint
This yellow paste made out of crushed bugs and
strange minerals is applied to the subject’s face. The subject becomes in tune
with spirits, and receives the benefits of Empathy (p. B51) when dealing with
them. He can get a feeling for the general intentions of any spirit he encounters
by making a successful IQ
roll. As well, his Influence skills (Diplomacy,
Sex Appeal, etc.) work normally on spirits.
Duration: 1 hour.
Form: Paint.
Cost: $420 (singular); $150 (5-batched).
Recipe: $42; 1 day; defaults to Alchemy-2.
Statistics: Affliction 1 (HT; Advantage, Shaman’s
Paint, +90%; Magical, -10%; Paint, -65%) [14]. Notes: «Shaman’s Paint» is Spirit
Empathy (Magical, -10%) [9].
I use the Alchemy in my game.
