Energy Drain: While maintaining ongoing contact (grappling, for example), the devourer can drain 3 HP per second from the victim, while healing 1 HP or 1 ER per each stolen HP.
Trapped Essence: The devourer has ER 20 (Magical) that it can use to use its spell-like abilities or cast spells, if he has learned any. This ER can only be replenished with Energy Drain. While ER is empty, the devourer has no soul trapped in his ribcage.
