Alchemy: Dungeon Poisons III

Alchemy: Dungeon Poisons III

GURPS Dungeon Fantasy 12 - Ninja gives us three more poisons to work with. Here's my take on converting them to the Metatronic Alchemy system.

Blinding Gas
This is a contact agent made from assorted natural irritant powders. This poison flask can be thrown (range is STx3.5). Hitting a hard surface, it breaks, creating a cloud of poison gas in a 2-yard radius. The cloud persists for 10 seconds and may drift with the wind. Any unsealed creature with unprotected eyes in the gas makes an HT roll to resist. On a failed roll, the victim becomes blind for a number of minutes equal to the margin of failure. If the victim can wash out all of his eyes (takes five seconds and an available water source), the blindness ends immediately.
Form: Grenade.
Cost: $1,230 (singular); $445 (5-batched).
Recipe: $123; 9 days; defaults to Poisons-5.

Statistics: Affliction 1 (HT; Area Effect, 2 yards, +50%; Contact Agent, +150%; Disadvantage, Blindness, +50%; Drifting, +20%; Grenade, +25%; Persistent, +40%; Terminal Condition, Washing out, -10%; Vision-Based, -20%) [41].

Mind Fog
This is a respiratory agent made from burned laquer. This poison flask can be thrown (range is STx3.5). Hitting a hard surface, it breaks, creating a cloud of poison gas in a 2-yard radius. The cloud persists for 10 seconds and may drift with the wind. Any creature that inhales the gas makes an HT roll to resist. On failure, the creature becomes dizzy and confused: it takes -3 to DX and IQ for 1 minute.
Form: Grenade.
Cost: $1,020 (singular); $365 (5-batched).
Recipe: $102; 6 days; defaults to Poisons-4.
Statistics: Affliction 1 (HT; Area Effect, 2 yards, +50%; Attribute Penalty, -3 to DX and IQ, +60%; Drifting, +20%; Fixed Duration, +0%; Grenade, +25%; Persistent, +40%; Reduced Duration, 1/3, -10%; Respiratory Agent, +50%) [34].

Paralytic Slime
This poison is a blood agent derived from a mix of rare and deadly fungus and giant-insect venom. Roll vs. HT or be paralyzed for a number of minutes equal to the margin of failure.
Form: Follow-Up Poison.
Cost: $690 (singular); $250 (5-batched).
Recipe: $69; 3 days; defaults to Poisons-3.
Statistics: Affliction 1 (HT; Follow-Up Poison, -20%; Paralysis, +150%) [23].
