Sorcery: Bio-Tech Spells IV
Last three bio-tech spells. Spellgraft imbues an embryo with magical abilities. Warp Fetus deforms an embryo or fetus. Transfer Pregnancy is used to transfer embryos between wombs or growth tanks.
Spellgraft
Keywords: Obvious.
Full Cost: 37 points.
Casting Roll: IQ.
Range: Touch.
Duration: Truly Permanent.
This spell allows the caster to give
an unborn child inherent magical ability. This works just like enchanting
items, but instead the caster imbues an unborn child with the spells. See
Chapter 3 of GURPS Thaumatology: Sorcery
for details on this spell and enchanting items in general. The Enchant spell
itself cannot be given to an unborn child!

of 178 points is divided by five due to this ability being character-point
powered.
Transfer Pregnancy
Keywords: Resisted (HT).
Full Cost: 39 points.
Casting Roll: Will. IQ to transfer.
Range: Touch.
Duration: Instantaneous.
This spell transfers an embryo or
fetus from the mother or an artificial growth tank to another female’s womb or
growth tank. If both subjects fail to resist, the caster may try an immediate
IQ roll to teleport the embryo or fetus. The caster must be touching both
subjects to do so.

Transfer Pregnancy, +300%; Affects the embryo/fetus instead of the mother/tank,

+10 for Reliable cancels the -10 for no preparation.
Warp Fetus

Full Cost: 52 points for level 1 +
10 points/additional level.
Casting Roll: Will.
Range: Unlimited.
Duration: Truly Permanent.
When this spell is cast on a
developing embryo or fetus, it will be born deformed. The caster can impose 10
points of mundane disadvantages on the embryo or fetus per level of this spell.
Only disadvantages that could conceivably be the result of birth defects or
hereditary diseases are possible, e.g., Epilepsy or One Arm.
