Sorcery: Metal Spells V

Three more metal spells. Rust makes an item more fragile, Restore Metal reverses the effects. Sharpen Blade is a limited version of Penetrating Weapon.
  
Restore Metal
Keywords: Resisted (Will or spell).
Full Cost: 10 points.
Casting Roll: Will.
Range: Unlimited.
Duration: Instantaneous.

Attempts to reverse the effects of the Rust spell or any natural rust. Treat the resistance roll as for Dispel Magic (see GURPS Thaumatology: Sorcery, p. 21).
Statistics: Neutralize Magic (Accessibility, Must target subject, not caster, -10%; Interruption, -50%; One Ability, Rust, -80%; Precise, +20%; Ranged, +40%; Sorcery, -15%) [10].

Rust
Keywords: Resisted (HT).
Full Cost: 37 points.
Casting Roll: Will.
Range: Unlimited.
Duration: Permanent.

The subject metal item rusts, suffering HT loss equal to your margin of victory (maximum -10). The metal in question must be of a type that weakens in time with exposure to oxygen; copper, for example, changes color to green but does not weaken. Weapons and armor have their quality reduced one level per -2 to HT. This spell may be countered by casting Restore Metal.

Sharpen Blade
Keywords: Weapon Buff.
Full Cost: 43 points.
Casting Roll: None. Use Innate Attack (Gaze) to aim.
Range: 100 yards.
Duration: Three minutes.

The bladed weapon enhanced gains a (2) armor divisor for the duration, which does not stack with any other armor divisors.
Statistics: Affliction 1 (HT; Accessibility, Only on bladed weapons, -30%; Advantage, Sharpen Blade, +340%; Fixed Duration, +0%; Increased 1/2D, 10x, +15%; No Signature, +20%; Sorcery, -15%) [43]. Notes: “Sharpen Blade” is 34 points, per Enhances or Transforms an Existing Attack (GURPS Thaumatology: Sorcery, p. 11).
