More spells from Complete Adventurer. Cacophonic Shield creates a sound barrier that prevents hearing and damages those who cross it. Cloak of the Sea lets the subject traverse underwater environments with more ease. Distort Speech makes the victim's speech incomprehensible. Swift Expeditious Retreat and Swift Fly are variants of existing spells. Unlike the proper buffs, these spells can be cast as a free action on your turn and have an indefinite duration that quickly drains your FP.
Cacophonic Shield

You create a barrier of sonic energy in a shape of a 4-yard-radius hemisphere around you. Noise makes hearing impossible inside this area. From the outside, creatures make their Hearing rolls at +10 to detect the barrier. Cacophonic shield counters effects that depend on sound transmission, such as Sound Burst. Spells reliant on sorcerous incantations cannot be cast within it. Anyone (including you) crossing the area takes 1d non-incendiary burning damage. Targets stuck by this very loud attack must make an HT roll, at -1 per 2 points of injury, or become deaf for (20 – HT) minutes (minimum one minute).
The improved version of this spell affects all forms of hearing, including Sonar, Subsonic Hearing, Ultrahearing, and Vibration Sense.

The subject retains his or her form but takes on a blue-green watery appearance. The subject becomes able to breathe water and immune to effects of extreme pressures. While underwater, the blurred appearance gives the subject +4 to Stealth when perfectly still, or +2 if moving. Clothing reduces it to +2 when perfectly still, or no bonus if moving. In addition, while underwater, the subject’s temperature comfort zone extends an additional 3xHT degrees in the direction of cold.

While this spell is active, the caster can fly, as long as he does not do that in a trace atmosphere or vacuum. The caster’s flight Move is Basic Speed x 2 (drop all fractions). He can also “fly” at half-speed underwater. Flight includes the ability to hover at Move 0 as well.
