Clerical Spells: Alignment Spells III

Consecrate was adapted from GURPS Powers: Divine Favor. Holy Smite/Order's Wrath/Unholy Blight deal irresistible damage in an area around the caster. There's no chaotic version of this spell; I guess the niche is taken by Chaos Hammer. Entropic Shield is a chaotic spell that deflects ranged attacks. Guidance only shares its name with the D&D spell; this version is an adaptation of the Divine Guidance ability from GURPS Powers: Divine Favor. I think it makes perfect sense as a generic divine spell. Undetectable Alignment hides the subject's alignment aura. And I think this is it for the generic divine spells.

    Consecrate
    Keywords: Area (Leveled), Buff.
    Full Cost: 35 points for level 1 + 5 points/additional level.
    Casting Roll: Skill.
    Components: V, DF.
    Cost: 1 FP.
    Casting Time: 1 second (before traversing entire perimeter).
    Range: Self.
    Duration: Permanent.

    You can consecrate the land, turning it into holy ground. To do so, you must first successfully cast this spell, then walk the full perimeter of the area before returning to the center to finish the casting.
    Normal land is affected automatically, but cursed land or land that is considered to have low sanctity for your faith may resist! Any sort of ritually desecrated land can roll against HT 12 to do so; this is not a Quick Contest.
    Once consecrated, the area is considered holy ground for your faith. It becomes a high sanctity area, and also may become a low sanctity area for opposing faiths. This lasts indefinitely, though future actions can cause it to fade or disappear, from supernatural attacks to those guarding the area acting against their faith’s tenets.
    Statistics: Affliction 1 (HT; Accessibility, Ground and buildings only, -20%; Advantage, Blessed, +100%; Area Effect, 2 yards, +50%; Based on IQ, Own Roll, +20%; Costs Fatigue, 1 FP, -5%; Divine, -10%; Emanation, -20%; Extended Duration, Permanent, +150%; Must first traverse entire perimeter, -20%; Requires Holy Symbol, -10%; Requires Magic Words, -10%; Selective Area, +20%) [35]. Additional levels add more Area Effect (+50%) [+5/level].

    Entropic Shield
    Keywords: Buff.
    Full Cost: 14 points.
    Casting Roll: Skill.

    Cost: 1 FP.
    Casting Time: 1 second.
    Range: Self.
    Duration: 3 minutes.

    A magical field appears around you, glowing with a chaotic blast of multicolored hues. This field deflects incoming arrows, rays, and other ranged attacks. In effect, you gain a +1 bonus to Dodge against ranged attacks.
    Statistics: Affliction 1 (HT; Accessibility, Self Only, -50%; Advantage, Entropic Shield, +140%; Costs Fatigue, 1 FP, -5%; Divine, -10%; Fixed Duration, +0%; Requires Gestures, -10%; Requires Holy Symbol, -10%; Requires IQ Roll, -10%; Requires Magic Words, -10%) [14]. Note:Entropic Shield” is Enhanced Dodge 1 (Divine, +0%; Visible, -10%) [14].

    Guidance
    Keywords: Information.
    Full Cost: 14 points.
    Casting Roll: Skill.
    Components: V, DF.
    Cost: 5 FP.
    Casting Time: 1 hour.
    Range: Self.
    Duration: Instantaneous.

    You may ask for a piece of divine wisdom. This requires a full hour of prayer before you can attempt to invoke this spell. If successful, your deity gives you advice, an omen, a warning, or whatever the GM thinks is appropriate. The GM will secretly roll against your casting skill to see how well you interpret this insight; the more successful this roll, the less cryptic he will be when relaying the message.
    You cannot invoke this ritual more than once per day. If it fails, your deity had no wisdom to impart.

    Holy Smite

    Casting Time: 2 seconds.
    Range: Self.
    Duration: Instantaneous.

    When this spell is cast, every evil being within four yards immediately takes 2d crushing damage, regardless of DR, insubstantiality, etc. They will see this attack clearly (as an explosion of holy energy coming from within you), but non-evil people will see nothing. This damage does not cause knockback.
    Statistics: Crushing Attack 2d (Accessibility, Evil Creatures Only, -50%; Affects Insubstantial, +20%; Area Effect, 4 yards, +100%; Cosmic, Irresistible Attack, +300%; Costs Fatigue, 2 FP, -10%; Divine, -10%; Emanation, -20%; Low Signature, +10%; No Knockback, -10%; Requires Gestures, -10%; Requires Holy Symbol, -10%; Requires IQ Roll, -10%; Requires Magic Words, -10%; Takes Extra Time 1, -10%) [38].

    The subject’s alignment aura becomes impossible to detect with any Information spells, regardless of the magic system used to cast them.

    Unholy Blight
