Even more necromancy. Death Knell is a limited touch attack spell. Deathwatch lets you see if the creature is dead, mortally wounded, reeling, or undead.
 
    Death Knell

    Casting Roll: Skill. Use unarmed combat skill or DX to hit.

    Duration: Instantaneous.
 
    This spell charges the caster’s hand with necromantic energies. If the caster touches a living creature at -1xHP or lower, he deals 2d toxic damage, ignoring DR.

    Using the foul sight granted by the powers of unlife, you can determine the condition of creatures near death that you can see with your own eyes. You instantly know whether each creature that you can see is dead, mortally wounded, reeling, undead, or neither alive nor dead (such as a construct).
    Statistics: Detect (Life Aura; Analysis Only, -50%; Analyzing, +100%; Costs Fatigue, 1 FP, -5%; Magical, -10%; Requires gestures, -10%; Requires magic words, -10%; Vision-Based, -20%) [10].

    Duration: 3 minutes.
 
    A coruscating ray springs from your hand. The victim resists the effect with (HT+DR). If he fails, the victim temporarily loses 4 ST. Lower all skills based on ST by a like amount. ST penalties also reduce BL and damage. HP is not otherwise affected.
