Treasure: Wand of Fireball
Here's another piece of fantasy treasure piles - a wand of fireball. Here I present three power variations, and each variation is build either as a Sorcery item or a Metatronic Generator. You can find the Fireball spell in Pyramid #3-63. Here and in the previous post we see a trend - on lower TLs metatronic generators are cheaper than Sorcery items, even when the spell-less variation is used, and on higher TLs metatronic generators are much more expensive.
Lesser Wand of
Fireball
Lesser Wand of Fireball – as an enchanted item (using
Sorcery)
You
throw a ball of fire (about the size of a softball) at a single target. Use
Innate Attack (Projectile) to hit, applying normal range penalties. It does 1d burning
damage.
If
your foe is within one yard of you, he may attempt to parry this attack
(actually parrying your wand). If such a parry is successful, you must roll
against DX to avoid hitting yourself with your own fireball! SM-6, DR 2, HP 6,
0.5 lb. LC3.
Statistics:
Fireball 1 [4]. Wand, x0.4; 2 EP.

Lesser Wand of Fireball – as a metatronic generator
(using Pyramid 3-46)
You
throw a ball of fire (about the size of a softball) at a single target. Use
