Sorcery: Fungus Spells IV

Even more fungal spells. Instant Neutralize Fungal Poison is a spell with a very long name, but a very short duration. Neutralize Fungal Poison does the same thing, but slower. Fungal Pestilence infects the subject with a fungal disease. Fungal Ruin ruins organic materials.

Instant Neutralize Fungal Poison
Keywords: Buff.
Full Cost: 48 points.
Casting Roll: None. Use Innate Attack (Gaze) to aim.
Range: 100 yards.
Duration: Instantaneous.

This spell flushes fungal poisons from the subject’s body. The caster must first roll against Poisons (or Alchemy, Pharmacy, etc., as appropriate) to identify the fungal poison. He cannot attempt this roll until he knows that the subject has been poisoned. In most cases, this can be discovered when the first symptoms show! This spell flushes the fungal poison instantly, after which it has no further effect.

Range: Unlimited.
Duration: Permanent until cured.

The caster infects the subject with a fungal disease of his choice. The disease must be known to the caster. The combined value of appropriate enhancements and limitations (such as Attribute Penalty, Disadvantage, etc.) should not be more than 50%.

Fungal Ruin

Full Cost: 104 points.
Casting Roll: Will.
Range: 100 yards.
Duration: 1 minute, the effect stays permanently.

This spell accelerates the natural process of decay in organic materials. It causes organic material – leather, fur, wood, plastics, etc. – to decay to uselessness. Each 1-minute casting has the general effect of aging the subject 5 years. It will remove 1 DR and 1 HP from most subjects. Weapons simply lose one grade of quality per casting, except for Very Fine weapons, which are unaffected!

This spell flushes fungal poisons from the subject’s body. The caster must first roll against Poisons (or Alchemy, Pharmacy, etc., as appropriate) to identify the fungal poison.
