Alchemy: Additional Elixirs III
The last three elixirs from Pyramid #3-28. Potion of Nightmares causes the subject to experience a nightmare next time he goes to sleep. Potion of Shadow Form transforms the subject into a two-dimensional shadow. Potion of Sleeplessness can make the subject sleepless for a week or so.
Potion of Nightmares
The next time the subject sleeps, he
experiences a nightmare, as per the Nightmares disadvantage (p. B148).
Duration: 1 day or until awakened.
Form: Potion.
Cost: $420 (singular); $150 (5-batched).
Cost (Herbal): $336 (singular); $120 (5-batched).
Recipe: $42; 1 day; defaults to Alchemy-2.
Statistics: Affliction 1 (HT; Disadvantage,
Nightmares (No self-control roll), +12%; Extended Duration, 1,000x, +60%; Magical,
-10%; Potion, -25%) [14]. Notes: Extended Duration costs only 60%, because the
Potion meta-enhancement already includes Extended Duration, 30x, +60%.
Potion of Shadow Form
This black potion grants the subject the Shadow
Form (p. B83) advantage. He cannot turn it off until the duration ends.
Duration: 1 hour.
Form: Potion.
Cost: $270 (singular); $100 (5-batched).
Recipe: $27; 1 day; defaults to Alchemy-1.
Statistics: Affliction 1 (HT; Disadvantage,
Shadow Form, +20%; Magical, -10%; Potion, -25%) [9].
Potion of Sleeplessness
This gray potion grants the Doesn’t Sleep (p.
B50) advantage.
Duration: 2d days.
Form: Potion.
Cost: $990 (singular); $355 (5-batched).
Cost (Herbal): $792 (singular); $285 (5-batched).
Recipe: $99; 6 days; defaults to Alchemy-4.
Statistics: Affliction 1 (HT; Advantage,
